What does Sanmeigaku look at?

Modern Style | Shukumei begins with the Year, Month, and Day Pillars calculated from the birth date, then expands the reading through Nijuhachigen, the Ten Major Stars, Twelve Subordinate Stars, Tenchusatsu, and Daiun. The main result starts with practical themes such as your inner axis, the side others see socially, distance in close relationships, and the rhythm of different life stages rather than a wall of technical terms.

What can be understood from a birth date?

The reading focuses on your underlying decision style, strengths that are easier to use in the outside world, reactions that appear in close relationships, the rhythm of early, middle, and later life, and long-term 10-year Daiun cycles. Work, relationships, and money are interpreted as conditions under which your strengths are easier to use rather than as guaranteed occupations or events.

The Ten Major Stars and the Human Chart

The Ten Major Stars are Kansaku, Sekimon, Houkaku, Choushuu, Rokuzon, Shiroku, Shaki, Kengyuu, Ryuukou, and Gyokudou. Center represents your inner axis, East the outside world, West close relationships, North the source of inherited values, and South expression developing toward the future. The same Star can therefore look different depending on where it is placed.

Why add the Twelve Subordinate Stars, Tenchusatsu, and Daiun?

This is not Four Pillars with renamed terms

The internal calculation is not built by simply renaming Four Pillars Ten Gods or Twelve Life Stages. Modern Style | Shukumei separately calculates the Sanmeigaku-side Three Pillars, Nijuhachigen, Ten Major Stars, Twelve Subordinate Stars, Tenchusatsu, and Daiun. It also does not require an Hour Pillar as a standard input.

Three things beginners should check first

First, do not define yourself from the Center Star alone. Second, when reading work or relationships, pay attention to Human Chart position. Third, do not treat Daiun or Tenchusatsu as fixed predictions of the future.

How should you use the result?

You do not need to memorize every technical result. Start with the overall picture and the sections describing how different sides of you appear in different situations. Then move to work, relationships, money, life stages, and Daiun, comparing the interpretation with your actual experience.
